CAT NON-ANESTHETIC DENTAL
To begin, every dental starts with an evaluation and a soft introduction of dental instruments into the pet's mouth. In a comfortable and gentle position we will hand scale and thoroughly remove tartar and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth and finish with a perfect polish!
Periodontal disease is an inflammatory disease that affects the soft and hard structures that support the teeth. It begins with plaque (a sticky film that coats teeth and contains bacteria) which over time hardens into tartar/calculus. Bacteria build-up is not only a potential risk to your pet's oral health, but it can also affect their internal organs.
Abnormal chewing and drooling
Periodontal disease is one of the most common diseases in dogs and cats today that can be prevented by routine dental cleanings and yearly check ups with your veterinarian. It is estimated that approximately 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have some form of periodontal disease by the time they are 3 years old.
